Welcome to My Qur'an Journey – Rayyan Moosa
My name is Rayyan Moosa, a 14-year-old Hafiz-e-Qur’an from Houston, Texas. Alhamdulillah, by the mercy of Allah (SWT), I completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and am now continuing my Islamic education through the Aalim course.
Through this website, I share my Qur’an recitations, updates from my learning journey, and moments of spiritual reflection. My goal is to spread the beauty of the Qur’an, inspire fellow youth, and stay connected with the ummah.
May Allah accept this effort from me and benefit all who visit. Ameen.
About Me
Meet Rayyan Moosa
I’m Rayyan Moosa, a young and passionate student of the Qur’an, currently based in Houston, Texas. At the age of 14, I have been blessed to complete the Hifz-ul-Qur’an and am now pursuing an Aalim course to deepen my understanding of Islamic knowledge, including Hadith, Fiqh, and Tafsir.
From an early age, I found peace in the words of Allah (SWT). I have developed a special love for Qur’anic recitation with proper Tajweed, Tarteel, and especially Randan – the melodious and rhythmic style of Tilawah.
This website is a part of my journey – a way to share, inspire, and grow with the help of my teachers, mentors, and every visitor who stops by.
Understanding the Name of Allah – Al-Fattah
(The Opener & Judge)
In this insightful reflection, Rayyan Moosa explores one of the beautiful names of Allah — Al-Fattah. Derived from the root word fataha, which means to open, grant victory, or judge, Al-Fattah signifies that Allah is the One who opens doors of guidance, success, and justice.
Rayyan discusses the verse from the Qur’an:
"Say, our Lord will bring us together, then He will judge between us in truth. And He is the Opener, the All-Knowing." (Surah Saba: 26)
This verse emphasizes that Allah is the ultimate judge, who will gather all of humanity and deliver a perfectly fair judgment based on our deeds. It is a reminder that no injustice will go unnoticed and that those who were wronged will be granted justice on the Day of Judgment.
The message also encourages us to apply this understanding in our own lives by striving to be fair, just, and kind to others. Just as Allah opens the doors of goodness, we too should try to be a source of ease and benefit for those around us.
